Indigenous Participatory Film Festival

Call for participation

June 12, 2014

COBRA is inviting expressions of interest for the Indigenous Participatory Film Festival, which will take place at Umana Yana, Georgetown, Guyana between the 16th and 19th September 2014.

The theme of the festival is “Community-owned solutions for social-ecological challenges’, and will provide an opportunity for the communities that have been involved in the project to present their films and to share ideas on how to promote indigenous community owned solutions.

As well as showcasing the films produced by communities that have worked with COBRA over the last 3 years, we would also like to invite submissions of films and photostories produced by indigenous communities and organisations.

For more details, please see our Festival Call. If you would like to participate, please get in touch using our Expression of Interest form.

The deadline for expression of interest is 30th July 2014. We look forward to hearing from you!
