Work Package 5 Report

Sharing, Implementing and Evaluating Best Practices

January 7, 2015

This report highlights Project COBRA’s experiences in facilitating the transfer of indigenous best practices from the North Rupununi to six communities across the Guiana Shield. The report documents the sharing and implementation of the best practices while evaluating the progress of the communities over a number of visits. The evaluation shows that the length and frequency of contact, the ability to relate to the facilitators, the community’s governance and community infrastructure all play a role in how well knowledge can be transferred and implemented.
